…that’s me. Unsurprising really, seeing as I’m getting hitched in just a week. Eek! As well as finalising wedding arrangements, I’m busy sorting out my little flat so that I can get a tenant in asap after the honeymoon, and I’m keeping an eye out for possible work opportunities. Oh, and I’m publicising my new yoga courses!
Seeing as I’m no longer commuting three days a week, getting back to Brighton at some ridiculous hour, I’ve decided to put the feelers out for another evening course at BMC, this time on Thursdays at 6.30pm until 7.30pm. I few people have mentioned that they’d love to do a course but that Mondays are a bad day for them so hopefully I’ll get a few takers. The lovely Luke at Wired Sussex has agreed to advertise the courses on the site’s event page, and has put a link to the listings on Upcoming – thanks Luke! And the regulars on my Monday night course have kindly volunteered to distribute leaflets at their places of work – thanks guys!
I’m also offering a beginners’ course (on Mondays at 7.15pm until 8.15pm) so if you’re convinced you’re the stiffest person on the planet (you’re not, you know) or have never done any kind of yoga, or indeed ANY mat-based group exercise before, this is the group for you. The idea behind ‘geek-friendly’ yoga is that as well a being tailored to those physically attached to their keyboard, it brings together like-minded people; it’s a chance for geeks to be sociable and healthy at the same time
So grab one or two colleagues and sign up for a course… I’ll look after you, I promise.
